Koh (Koh mean Island in Thai language) Kret is an island of greenery Chao Phraya River on a thirty kilometers north of Bangkok. It is accessible via the Skytrain, bus and by ferry. It gives an overview of rural life, a way of life replaced by industrialization and urbanization. Koh Kret remains a unique place where one can still see the villages, fields, coconut trees, temples, houses on stilts, a reserve of migratory birds in embedded large urban Bangkok which extends over a radius of 50 km.
